I strongly feel he should go to military prison for at least 10 years. What do you think?
Would you consider the time he was held captive, time served?

Nothing more, nothing less.
You say that with the confidence of a man who knows obama has already put the fix in, to save both he and his followers from any more embarrassed than they have already suffered.

Apparently a lot of people have read the findings of the Article 32 hearing... or maybe not.

well, obviously, MANY have been following this case.

Military prosecutors called three witnesses — the heads of Bergdahl's platoon, company and battalion at the time he went missing. Each spoke in detail about the difficulties involved in the 45-day search for Bergdahl and how it put other soldiers in danger.

Bergdahl's attorneys called four witnesses Maj. Gen. Kenneth Dahl said Bergdahl explained that he had serious concerns about his unit's leadership and that he left the post hoping to make it to a base about 19 miles away because he hoped to get the attention of a general who might listen to his concerns. Dahl said Bergdahl's concerns were unfounded and that he doesn't think Bergdahl should go to prison.

A look at Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl's Article 32 hearing

If Dahl admitted Bergdahl's b.s. concerns were unfounded, then this only proves Bergdahl was a damned liar. then why Bergdahl should not go to prison?

Looks like it is a fact that Bergdahl deserted and have put other soldiers lives in danger. But Dahl's opinion counts because he is a Maj. Gen.

That is how I see it anyway.

At the very beginning, I thought Bergdahl was mentally disturbed, but now I am inclined to believe he made up stories. Such a selfish bad individual. (sneaky too)

Pink bolded - Bergdahl was a deserter and a liar.

He was quite sneaky. I no longer believe he was mentally disturbed.

He was discharged from the Coast Guard after a few weeks in addition to his actions in Afghanistan, you don't think he had issues?

I would be rather annoyed also if I had to search for someone in 100+ heat for 45 days, don't blame them one bit.

No question that Bergdahl's concerns and actions were unfounded, he does not appear to be normal. Already stated but someone that marches 20 miles through enemy territory without a rifle is not sane.

Fairly low bar for enlistees back in 2008, they needed bodies.

Quote:
The U.S. government confirmed Wednesday that Sergeant Bowe Bergdahl was
discharged early from the Coast Guard, after only 26 days in boot camp, two
years before he tried to enlist in the Army.
.......
Generally such an event is a red flag that would have required a waiver from the Army before allowing such a prospective recruit to enlist. A wide variety of bars to enlistment—including legal problems and health concerns—require waivers because the Pentagon believes such recruits won’t do as well in uniform as those without such warning signs.
In 2008, the year Bergdahl joined the Army, the service granted waivers for about 20% of its recruits, usually for illicit drug use or other legal problems. Such waivers spiked as the popular support for the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq sagged and it became more difficult to entice young Americans to serve in uniform.
The Significance of Bergdahl

How much damage to our Country are you comfortable with?

So the crux of the argument is that you don't like Obama so Bergdahl must suffer.

Agree that the White House Rose Garden was a mistake, taking it out on Bergdahl makes no sense.
