It was set up with Dems telling CNN what to ask and what not to ask. They made sure not to try to do a Jerry Springer show like CNN (aka Dem Party) did when the Republicans debated there.

I hate to admit it but I think Hilary did pretty well. Seemed cool calm and collected. Maybe stopped the hemorrhaging from emailgate. I expect fairly smooth sailing for her on up to the coronation, er, nomination. I don't think Biden will enter the race.

It was set up like a TV game show. SMH at how far we have come from the idea of politics as statesmanship and leadership.

We've reduced it to entertainment.

America is not socialist or progressive/communist. We are a democracy where people live in freedom. I will fight to my last breath to never let this terrible mind-set ever control America no matter what party that terrible mind-set chooses to claim.

Bernie Sanders and Hillary, but Bernie especially vocal, regarding the "rich" makes me sick. Neither of them have a clue about what makes the American economy work better than anything ever preceding...I certainly do not want this extremely ignorant mentality in any position that can touch my life. Without the "rich" there would be no middle class! That's the way it works in America. I am even more disgusted that somehow our education system has produced a few younger generations that have a terrible and warped idea of what makes America work and what our Constitution is all about. Anyone who believes in the garbage Bernie, especially, but also Hillary close behind and the other 2 (Web the exception...he has more intelligence and understanding of the real world) spit out are living in a world of disaster.
What I think is especially galling about those two is that they both are quite well off due to CAPITALISM (and some crookedness). They are the worst type of person, hypocrites AND believers in "I've got mine now close the door to anyone else".

If they were both serious about what they're trying to push on the rest of the public then how about they go first? How about Hillary and Bill give away 90% of THIER wealth including the Clinton slush fund/foundation to the poorest in our nation?
How about taking 5-10 million and fully fund food banks, clothing banks, doctors and good schools in just one of the poorest areas of America? I'm sure there's plenty of people in far eastern Kentucky/Appalachia that would love the opportunities that Hillary and Bernie have stolen/been given.
I'd be more inclined to listen to what they have to say if they ever in their pampered lives had lived the life of someone like Jimmy Carter for example. He may have been one of the worst presidents in history and, I don't think much of him as president or many of his beliefs but he knows what WORK IS and has actually walked the walk and does what he asks others to do. I respect that.

Bernie said he was the only one on that stage who is not a Billionaire, did you not hear that?

So you think "I'm a woman" is a good answer to just about everything she was asked? Yep, we are doomed as a nation.

I didn't watch the entire debate. Just tuned in a few times to get an idea of how it was going. Hilary seemed in control. As for the substance of her answers that's a different matter.
