This is true. It took my mom until she was forty years old to come out to her family and live in a lesbian relationship. And she has never been happier

I don't agree with men sleeping with men and women sleeping with women, was that not clearly indicated in my statement? Just because an individual does not believe in the gay lifestyle, does not make them a gay basher you know.

And you're probably right about that, so my statement stands corrected and should say that I've never knowingly had a friendship with a lesbian and will probably never knowingly will.

So if they lived in the same household, raised children together, and acted as a couple in every other fashion, but were completely celibate, it would be okay with you? That seems just a little arbitrary to me.

For me it's not OK, it should remain the behaviour of a minority, Gay Marriage equates proselitizing in favour of this way of life, to officialize it; it's the last drop of water that makes the glass pour over. Our societies shouldn't hurry into it as they do today. And no the children educated by these couples won't be traumatized learning their mothers /mothers, fathers/fathers are not married, no more than non-married heterosexual couples (the latter are BTW less and less enthusiastic about marriage, it'd be interesting to learn why....)

Who was suggesting homosexuality should be the orientation of the majority?

Why not?

If you can't foresee harm to children (which I'd say is hardly relevant, since children are not a prerequisite to marriage), what is your argument against it, then?

No, it was not clearly indicated, that's why I asked. Gays and lesbians can lead a range of lifestyles, just like heterosexuals. But thanks for clearing that up.

You don't agree with gay men and lesbians expressing their love for one another through sex and affection. In my book, you go down as a gay basher, and I'll be happy to write you a fifty page thesis on why you are one.

Do you believe in chairs? Cucumbers? Presbyterians? I find it a very silly choice of language to assert that you "don't believe" in something that clearly exists.

I love what you said here.
I agree with you on that. A Christian may "Not believe in Gay Marriage" but not "believing" in it will not make it dissapear.

People rather make this a "terrible taboo life" then to just accept it. Its not like saying "Gay sex or marriage" is wrong, is actually going to make people stop doing it ESPECIALLY by using religious principles.

Why would someone be a gay basher just because they don't believe in the lifestyle?
