Yes, but there is a slight difference. There are no "Christian" laws that is going to affect my daily life (and I am not a Christian) but there are a lot of Islamic laws which apply to everybody.
?????
I can't tell if you're joking, or just not paying attention. Christians work frantically to pass laws reflecting their religious beliefs at every level of American government, and quite a lot of them affect every American citizen every day. Every time the christian wackoes try to cram through legislation limiting abortions or other access to health care, or making it illegal to discriminate against minorities, or making our children stupid by forcing schools to teach primitive religious myths as fact in our public schools, they are most definitely affecting your daily life.

Please, calm down and a take a couple of deep breaths.
The woman is running for the state legislature, not declaring herself Supreme Dictator For Life. Like most state legislators, she will probably try to pass legislation that reflects the interests of the constituency that voted her into office. In order to actually become law, that legislation will have to be approved by a majority of her fellow legislators, then signed into law by the governor, and - finally - be tested by the judicial system to ensure that it is compatible with the Constitution. If her proposals are deemed good ideas by the majority of the legislature and by the governor, and not overturned by the courts, it will become law - if it fails to pass any of those tests, it will not. It's been a while since I last read the Constitution, but from what I remember, I somehow doubt that forcing women to wear hijabs in public would be compatible with the language therein.
Some of you people need to turn off those idiot radios and stop panicking.
I bet you are too scared to criticize Islam the same way.
Wanna bet? I'm not afraid of Islam or its adherents. They can get it too.

No he didn't. He practiced Judaism! He was rabbi for crying out loud.
Paul invented Christianity, and he was as barbarous as Mohammed.

He gave the human race the keys to enlightenment. We can ALL thank him for our freedom and our way of life.
Mohammed was nothing but a murdering child molester. He was nothing but a criminal. Islam is not a religion. He was just another Jim Jones.
Nonsense. Do you know how many religions taught all of that stuff long before Christianity? Read a book dude.

Christianityphobia!
Obama is a Christian and has passed no such laws. Now I hope you aren't one of those wackos who claims he isn't one.
The media sure seems to favor muslims, and they are certainly pro liberal in their agenda.
Conservatives sure seem to view Muslims as inferior. They are certainly anti-Muslim in their agenda. When liberals have the nerve to point out that Muslims have the same rights as everybody else, conservatives claim they are "favoring" them.
seriously....I was never aware before 911 happened, and right afterwards to actually have my girlfriend phone me and tell me to turn on the news that all the news stations were showing Muslims dancing in the streets...at first I didn't understand...and she told me, these were Muslim people who were celebrating 911.
I didn't even realize we had that many Muslims over here...then I started educating myself...and remembered what a teacher explained to us about terrorists....and how Muslims were strictly breeding to take over the world.
You can call it Islamophobia if you like and laugh all you want....however, they are doing exactly what my teacher had predicted, they are infiltrating all over the world, into our job forces, buying up real estate, backed by large sums of money, and infiltrating our politics...it's only a matter of time....I'm sorry to say...
My son taught people in Afghanistan how to police...there is no way you can tell the difference of who is who...they are told to act like us, to pretend to be sympathetic, and use our own laws against us, and they do...
so, like I always say...Americans are so stupid...but they are coming to a neighborhood near you.
And we should be afraid...no, I don't believe that they are all extremists...however, if they were not, they would certainly come out and try to be more American and denounce terrorists...but they don't....
Naw, I would just call your comments ignorant, nonsensical, and hateful.
My neighbor is Muslim, a lawyer, who has taught constitutional law at a local university here. His kids play with mine. None of what you say applies to him.
Are Christians always obligated to denounce all the killings by Christians in our country (and we lose a lot of people every year to folks with guns, most of whom are Christian)?

Just Conservatives? Im an Athiest, pro gay rights, pro equal rights for women, pro choice, believe in laws limiting guns to crazy people and felons, and I find it easy to see how Islam is a threat to the world. The evidence is a little overwhelming when there are 100s of Muslim Terrorist organizations in the world, Islamic attacks everday, and every Islamic Republic running counter to western ideals. Inferior? Islam sure is!

Kindly check your ignorance at the door.
So your Muslim neighbor, who just happens to teach constitutional law, represents all Muslims in the world?
