Absolutely. While it's true he broke the law, he did so to inform the public that the government was breaking the law and in doing so, violating our rights. And instead of coming clean and owning up to the transgressions, they charge Snowden with a crime, which sort of just proves Snowden's point.

This is exactly it, the gov is just pissed off because he invaded their privacy.
