Washington passed a law by initiative that requires ALL forearms transfers to have a background check done on the buyer. The proponents of this initiative said it was to make Washington State SAFER by preventing mass shootings.
I wonder how this could have happened, given the fact that a COMMON SENSE gun law was passed. What happened?

So, he "looks" Hispanic. In that area, big deal, that doesn't mean much.
The first time I asked my first ex-wife to skate at the Burlington Roller Frolic, she says she nearly refused because she thought I was a Mexican field hand. Actually, I had a dark tan from working on the flight line at NAS Whidbey Island (Ault Field). Many of her friends thought I was Mexican, too.
Sad that they couldn't tell the difference between a tanned Caucasian Sailor and a Mexican field hand....

Eye witnesses apparently think he was hispanic. Why the witnesses think that, I haven't been able to discover.
If you read a selection of the news stories, you will find NO quotes from people who directly saw the shootings. I suspect they are being kept under wraps for now.

Shooting people in malls and theatres has been a hallmark of whites in the US the last few years, not Hospanics or Arabs.
Young whites have been marginalized over the past several years with feelings of guilt, being told they're evil, privileged, and other garbage. No doubt that impacts mental health.
He does look like he could be Muslim. Did they confirm that he was speaking Spanish or in a Mexican accent, and that they did not hear Arabic being spoken and Koranic verses being recited?
