Here is a picture of him:

The article is not describing any racial or other "identity politics" characteristics, so we know from past experience what that usually means.

I won't speculate and make any assumptions, but I'll say that there is a possibility this guy's horrific crime is a copy-cat of the guy who stabbed a number of people recently at a mall in Minnesota.

I can't tell what race he is. Young guy (29/30ish?), black hair, no beard, no visible tats. Three dead women, did he target a love interest and her friends? Hopefully they'll find him dead from a self inflicted gunshot wound.
The fact that this murderer has been reported to have targeted women at a makeup counter doesn't seem to signal a terrorist act to me. I also think this evil mass murder was likely a passion killing.

Oh, it could be, but without further data, we are just grasping at straws and jumping at conclusions.

I mentioned this in another thread related to this. There is a possibility this guy was a copy-cat of the guy who stabbed a number of people in a mall in Minnesota, even though both used different weapons.

Whether the shooter is Hispanic or Muslim, a Hispanic Muslim, or whatever nationality/religion he is, the bottom line is, this murderer needs to be caught before he hurts anyone else.

Reports are that he left the rifle behind- so they can trace it and hopefully get prints. Cops likely know who he is by now.

"After the shots stopped, Zavala went back into the Macy's to search for his wife. Zavala saw people laying on the floor, including two elderly women. Another woman was helping an injured person behind the cosmetics counter. A rifle was sitting on the counter."
