I'm no fan of China, but it sounds like we lost that one fair and square if you ask me.
Before anyone responds, ask yourself something. Would you be ok with a "Chinese science vessel" cruising around a hundred miles or so off the coast of Florida? Probably not.
There is a new sheriff coming to town and the Chinese better watch out ... believe me the Chinese need US more than we need them repel permanent trade with China and bring our companies home then see who is still standing tall.
Companies would just go to Mexico instead for cheap labor, or some other cheap labor place.

You did make it up. China or America will not war with each other because one leader called another leader a bad name. Is that why Japan attacked Pearl Harbor? Because we called Japan a bad name or was it something to do with policies like the Versailles Treaty and sanctions?
I know, I know, bad example. I shouldn't use Pearl Harbor as an example of war because there were no boots on the ground.
