Already, Congress is paying off old creditors with new investor funds (which is a crime in the private sector - see Bernie Madoff). Remember, when Congress borrows MORE than it pays in debt service, that's evidence of inevitable collapse.

Furthermore, pursuant to 12 USC Sec. 411, the only legal way to authorize MORE dollar bills (needed to pay the usury) is to have DEFICITS. And to pay the ever rising interest requires (drum roll) MORE DEFICITS.

We're heading for a collapse, no matter which partisan party is in power. The question that remains - do we Americans want to comply with the Declaration of Independence, and demand that governments are limited to securing the Creator endowed rights of the people, or do we want THE PEOPLE'S DEMOCRATIC SOCIALIST REPUBLIC?

Do you prefer endowed rights to life, liberty, absolute ownership of private property, inherent powers, privileges and immunities that do not require consent, -or- do you prefer to be a subject serf in the glorious collective which grants (or withholds) the taxable privilege to live, work, travel, own, trade, marry or own a dog? All under the benevolent enforcement of the totalitarian police state.

Oh, and if you thought FICA was “insurance” for you, oops.
In two important cases, Helvering v. Davis and Flemming v. Nestor, the U.S. Supreme Court ruled that Social Security taxes are simply taxes and convey no property or contractual rights to Social Security benefits. Benefits are at the sole discretion of Congress.

FICA / Socialist InSecurity was a "tax and bribe" scam from day one. It was a means to enact a new tax in the midst of the Great Depression. It will be a grand day when it is finally abolished.
I'll opt for "subject serf" thanks

My Rep. in NC 8 voted for the bill which kills them off. Time for this guy to go. Put them back I control and we will see the end of our retirement future.

One living in our own homes and being healthy.
What bill was proposed that would have ended SS, and Medicare?

Be specific, what exact bill was going to end SS, and Medicare.

Any party that tries to get rid of SS and Medicare will have their heads handed to them. It's a losing fight as those are pretty ingrained in our society, especially for older people, they are pretty organized in terms of voter turn out and they ain't having it.

Deficit now headed to 1 trillion due to loss of income from Corporations. In the GOP mindset that means cuts, to the people who voted for them.

The GOP way.

Yes we will see more people dying from inadequate and incompetent healthcare once we see the states DMV version fully foisted on us. Progressives will love it for the undesirables it will eliminate.
