Any party that tries to get rid of SS and Medicare will have their heads handed to them. It's a losing fight as those are pretty ingrained in our society, especially for older people, they are pretty organized in terms of voter turn out and they ain't having it.
of course you are right and those who constantly post "medicare and SS are going away are not using their heads. If for no other reason, just what you are saying. Will we see some changes like the age when we can collect? Eventually, yes and it is due, but doing away with it: not going to happen.
Why can't you just answer the question? I know why you can't, you know your posting is incorrect. It doesn't make any difference how high the deficit goes there is nothing that even indicates SS will be cut or medicare either.

The house budget for 2019, which Hudson voted for, cuts SS and Medicare.
Obviously many people don't understand what politicians consider cuts to programs so let me explain it to you.
If a government program is granted a 10% increase in spending in 2018 and then in 2019 is only granted a 5% increase, politicians will tell you the program has been cut by 5%. Don't be a stooge and listen to these lies.

Exactly what was done with Medicare not too long ago. They reduced the increases with future Medicare funding.
Here we go with this again. This is fear mongering combined with political hackery. If people think that only one party doesnt screw with the benefits that they pay into, they may wanna wake up. That brings me to this, why be "scared" of this yet want more government control of your life?
