You may think that it's a Twitter world, but a good part of this country still gets its news from tradition media and is influenced accordingly. Trump really does not want to alienate the White House press corps. He needs to extend an olive branch, and the sooner the better.
Most people have seen through this charade of an un-biased press and is 1 reason why so many Americans vote for him.

Kind of like the blank sheets of paper that were inside the blank manilla folders at the press conference. It's a facade and the citizens are left in the dark trying to guess what is going on.
"If they aren't able to access the president,"

WOW, some of you are dense and exaggerate to the nth degree!

The issue is they might move then across the street NOT ban then altogether.

This shouldnt be a surprise though. Donald Trump has demonstrated contempt for any press coverage he dislikes, openly attacking reporters in press conferences.

The destruction of our democracy marches on.
I'm all for removal of these liars- they brought this upon themselves, and don't want to be held accountable.

He needs to be conciliatory toward the press and to use them to build support for his administration's goals. To be anything but is to invite trouble. A lot of trouble.
" A lot of people distrust Mr. Trump"

And they DISTRUST the press EVEN MORE!

Have even read any of the stories they have printed in the last year about Trump?

And the "fluff" pieces about Hillary?

The MSM does nothing but try and portray Trump as a racist, sexist, despot, even though what the media is saying turns out to either be lies or twisting the truth into being something completely different than what he was actually saying or doing. Leftists would have no problem if this was Clinton or Obama kicking the media out of the white house. The only reason they're complaining about it is because Trump is the one saying the media should be removed from the white house.
