He might but there is a rather large staff, Grant had 6 people, now it is well over a hundred.

So, Trump will bring a hindered staff members into the WH press room?

Are you sure about that?

do any of you on the left not recognize we got here because of the duplicitous actions by the media?
I recognize that we got here because of several issues that are being extrapolated to mean no MSM should ever be trusted. People are either too stupid or too lazy to realize that there are very good MSM outlets out there and they'd do well to trust them.

Other issues include embracing anti-intellectualism, trusting sources without any type of verification or journalistic ethics and taking crap you see on social media as gospel.

You extrapolated incorrectly.

You should never take what the media says as gospel, the media has been proven bias and in many cases the media has an agenda.

I never said you should.

Likewise, you don't throw the baby out with the bathwater.

Who the hell ever created the myth that the press is not biased?

Define the press, media, etc. There are super market tabloids and there is the Christian Science Monitor. They all have a POV and a product to sell.

The Fairness Doctrine had to do with the FCC and was rescinded by Reagan. It pertained to issues.

The equal time rule is ignored. It only is called for when the broadcaster initiates the program.

Cable and print can do what they please. Don't like it? Get some investors and start your own.

If the MSM had a bias for Billary, you can blame Disney Corporation, Sumner Redstone, when they are not fighting with his mistress for control, and Comcast, who finally bought out GE's remaining 49% in 2013. All good ol American businesses. Capitalism rules.

More than any other president in living memory, Trump will need to cultivate good relations with the press.

He's doing it wrong.

But only simpletons conflate bias with fake news.
