Humes claim is BS. There is a still shot of the ABC livestream at 11;15 that shows vast empty spaces about halfway out, which were covered with people at Obamas. Hume has become a lapdog willing to say what he is told.
This is not something to laugh about; this is very serious. It took three questions before she finally admitted the Press Secretary told a lie, but to present it as "an alternative fact" is beyond frightening. Let's hope the majority of this country sees this for what it is and calls BS. If we don't, worse lies and coverups will come - because they know they can get away with it. I felt my blood pressure rise 50 points when I was trying to watch that interview. The biggest takeaway? How she threatened to change the administration's "relationship" with the press! This administration isn't even three days old, and she is already saying this. Think about that.
Alternative fact is an oxymoron. These people are out of their minds. When will people wake up??
Right after Bengazi or what your defintion of "is" is....lmao.
Skeezy for sure but these are politicians so yeah, it's deplorable and not anything new.
But hey, don't worry, your premiums won't go up and you'll get to keep your doctor.
Now go to bed comforted in the knowledge that the OTHER politicians lie to you but YOUR side is all that is good, truthful and virtuous.
Frankly, I read through these threads and grow tired at the stupidity of my fellow Americans. I'm not joking, my friend that is a solid democrat and I often have these conversations. The average american is an imbecile for the most part regardless of party, they're easily convinced that the problem is the OTHER guys and that the OTHER party is racist\sexist\communist\socialist which is mostly crap.
Oh well, you guys just keep bickering and marching and whatever and feel superior to your tribal party loyalties.
All he had to say was, "Yes, the turnout was smaller than I would have hoped, and I am deeply appreciative for every person who came out to witness this very special day. It appears I have a lot to do to earn America's approval, and I'm excited to get down to work." That would have been a dignified way to handle it, and he could even have tweeted it. But, no, he had to send out his attack dogs to deny what every person in America could clearly see was true.
This. There is a simple way to turn a negative into a positive. They took a negative and made it worse.
It's funny how caught up you are in condemning anything and everything remotely related to Trump. You're busy, along with the main stream news media, trying to convince yourself and the public gullible enough to believe you that Trump's inauguration was attended only by himself, the VP, their families and maybe 100 "deplorables"at most, because you know it to be fact that everyone else in the world hates him as much as you do.
But there are other pictures taken by attendees at the inauguration showing a lot more people attending the Trump inauguration than the comparison picture taken by, which was it, NBC, CNN ( doesn't matter, neither one credible IMO) showing the mall area for the Trump vs the 2009 Obama inauguration. Apparently the white covered areas shown in the Trump inauguration were tnose cordoned off, ie, not accessible to crowds, for security purposes, these areas were not cordoned off in your Obama's 2009 inauguration. Then it seems the picture shown by the news media of the mall for Trump's inauguration was taken well before the event took place, not during his oath of office or his address. As in, probably well before everyone planning to attend had arrived.
This may be the "alternative information", and that it may conflict with the information put out there by the main stream media in yet another effort to discredit President Trump does not make it a lie. The fact that you and yours may choose to discredit anything that doesn't issue from the left liberal sources also doesn't make it a lie either.
I'm not disputing any idea that the Obama's 2009 inauguration was attended by more people than Trumps was, know it was and I have read the statistics. That stands to reason as Obama was the first black president, the Anointed One, and his worshippers wanted to be there and part of the action as the news media pontificated and fawned all over his "sacred event".
And from the fawning over one president, to an enraged vendetta towards the new one by the liberal left, no surprise there are fewer people attending Trump's inauguration. And no surprise, either, that the news media would attempt to misrepresent the attendence at that event.
It doesn't matter what time the photos were taken, or when the crowds arrived, does it -- other than to serve the purpose of media to project their story their way.
As mentioned, security was extremely tight and security procedures may well have slowed down the arrival of the crowds.
I watched the speech and the two pictures look very much alike.
