History has shown, nationalism produces nothing but conflicts. We need less of that in this world of high tech, nuclear missiles, and the likes.
What do you call the Korean War, Vietnam, and Iraq? Globalists are always intervening in minor conflicts if not engaging in full scale conventional warfare. Nation building and exporting democracy are too darn expensive, especially considering the problems we have here. Globalism has destroyed places like Detroit. In my opinion, it is an act of treason to spend billions of dollars building up hostile nations when our fellow Americans are suffering. It is time to start investing here rather than dumping our money overseas.
There are a lot of points of view between nationalist and globalist. I am personally not a nationalist or globalist as I reject all forms of collectivism. I consider myself an individualist advocate. I am naturally skeptical of anyone who down plays individualism for some form of collectivism

The ideals that this country was founded on:
"We the People of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defence, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America."
No where does it say, please lower taxes for everyone. That does NOT promote general welfare as we are seeing now.
Since "free markets" have never, in the history of humankind, existed anywhere, ever, "analysis" of them remains futile. History (at least the last hundred or so years of it), has shown conclusively that the "philosophy of economics" has been less useful than astrology.

It's more useful than astrology because governments go off this basis to enact laws today regulating the free market....
