The link to the actual report isn't working now, but it also mentioned premium rates could go up by 20%. By 2026, about 24 million total will have lost access to healthcare. Lower income people between 50 and 64 would be largely impacted by the passage of this law. Here's the link to the report (once it's back up):

They will yell, Obama!! Hillary!! Fake News!!

The CBO is very well respected, despite what President Bonkers' minions said on all the Sunday talk shows.

Once the folks on ACA get the ability to ascertain their cost and or eligibility next year, well that's when it hits the fan.

I guess when Trump said he would take care of "everybody" he was speaking figuratively and not literally. It also could be he was speaking in more of a mafioso way when saying he would "take care of everybody." He is from New York and has outfit ties. So what's rubbing a few million folks out?

Trump will take care of everybody who's in the White House. Anybody outside? Don't get sick and work harder is his answer. They'll happily apply reverse socialism and redistribute wealth from middle and lower classes to the rich.

Well if Obamacare keeps going as is, a lot of people who are struggling to pay these high premiums will drop out (as many already have) and it will crash and burn anyway.

The drop in the number of insured would result in part because people would opt to go without coverage once the requirement that most Americans have coverage or pay a penalty is repealed, according to the report by the CBO and the Joint Committee on Taxation. Higher premiums would also prompt some people to opt to go without insurance, the report said.
Good, we as a country need to stop taking care of peoples health care financially..amongst other things..
As long as we reduce the deficit, starting with getting rid of ACA, this country will prosper again..
Getting rid of debt is primary goal of America right now. So, put your big boy britches on and start living within your means, not others.

Sick pools mean if you get any chronic illness you will end up paying massive insurance costs because the US gov is going to allow insurers to put you all in one basket. Which means you end up losing your home , you eat up your life savings.

Plus we cant ignore the lie of state borders, there are NO border rules stopping any company from selling across borders.

State borders are another lie. they don't exist apart from states having different standards that must be met.

Free market no where in the world is there a free market healthcare insurance market. NO WHERE.

NOTE there is NO expected decrease in premiums, but by 2026 they may slow the rate of increase. that is all.

so who wins? Well the rich win and the lower income trumpers lose out the most.
Excellent synopsis

So your smart solution is to drop people off of insurance completely? Stupid solution.

SINGLE PAYER is the solution. Outlaw all the damn insurance companies squeezing everyone, getting richer at everyone else's expense.

They should do exactly what Democrats did.

"This bill was written in a tortured way to make sure CBO did not score the mandate as taxes. If CBO scored the mandate as taxes, the bill dies. Okay, so it’s written to do that. In terms of risk rated subsidies, if you had a law which said that healthy people are going to pay in — you made explicit healthy people pay in and sick people get money, it would not have passed… Lack of transparency is a huge political advantage.
