On the UP SIDE -- IF the Leftists shut down the Government while a Republican is President - Parks will still be open, Memorials will still be open, the White House tours will still be open, Park Highways will still be open. the Memorial Flights will still happen ...... I suspect that Federal Employees will NOT be able to Double Dip & collect Food Stamp and Unemployment Insurance and that Protest Groups will not be able to take over the National Mall while disabled Veterans are barred from the National Mall & Memorials.

At this point it doesn't matter if preachers of alternative Facts is done by PAID bloggers, duped voters or just indoctrinated haters of Liberals views. Folks spent so much time claiming " Appeasement Tour" by Obama. You mean like happened in January, April, and September of 2016 under Obama? Or January 2017 which was mostly under Obama unless you think Trump really did that much in his first 10 days? Those monthly numbers don't really say anything whatsoever though as money doesn't come in equally. February is always a bad month if just looking at monthly numbers so it's not surprising much more was spent this February than came in.
We'll just have to wait to see how much influence Trump can actually have on both the budget side and tax side. His budget proposal obviously isn't popular with a lot of people but I'd get behind the spending cuts if they were being made for a reason other than just shifting from non-defense to defense. That really doesn't help anything. The problem is the budget is flat out too large. Taking a dollar here and spending it there, whatever. Budget is still flat out too large. How much squawking is happening over a measly $50 billion in non-defense cuts, less than 10% of the projected FY2017 budget deficit which is only going to grow larger in future years, kind of gives an indication of the problem. Cutting $50 billion from non-defense, another $50 billion from defense would be a decent starting place and actually at least moving towards the balanced budget Trump campaigned on. But like the wall that Mexico is going to pay for and locking up Hillary, we all know that's just another empty campaign promise.
You do realize that we are still operating under the fiscal budget passed by the previous congress and signed by the previous president, right?
