It doesn't look that rosy from last months treasury statement.

I wish the Republicans would be much more bold and make massive cuts to discretionary spending.

If this Republican In Name Only mentality continues and the Republicans are not bold, they could risk alienating the base.

They should cut programs that effect the Democratic district, more then the Republican ones.

For example, they should expand Charter Schools while eliminating baby sitting services like Head Start. I don't see why lunch is not a local issue and why the federal government has to pay for lunch.

They can't even make little cuts that don't effect seniors and the military. It's getting ridiculous

The cuts proposed have been tiny, they could much deeper cuts and they wouldn't effect society as a whole.

They should keep Social Security, Medicare and programs for seniors, physically disabled and veterans as is or expand them a bit.

OK, I'll put your silly little game. What did Trump do to achieve this? I'll wait.

Did Congress pass some Trump budget that we don't know about?

Maybe it was not Trump's doing but I highly doubt word of a surplus or even a reduction in debt would have seen the light of day under Obama. You wonder how billions of dollars simply disappeared during his presidency?
