Are you really trying to whitewash the Great Recession?

It was longer, had higher unemployment, and a bigger GDP drop.

This has really reached the level of pure comedy.

The economy was hemorrhaging when Obama came into office so there is nothing he could have done to turn the trend around on a dime. I personally don't think he made the best decisions in every instance but this idea that he personally caused the economic problems at the start of his term is beyond logic.

There were regional and professional realignments occurring in the country beyond the recession and anything under any President's control. If we are to blame Obama for the folks slipping below the middle class he should also get credit for the folks rising to the upper or upper middle class as well. But the truth is we've seen the gulf between the haves and have nots expanding for the last 30 years.

We'll see how Trump does after his actual proposals and budgets are the ones in place.

FYI - Trump is still in Obama's last Fiscal Year budget. Once Trump passes his budget he can start to claim some successes. He hasn't really don't anything yet.

I'm still waiting on his tax plan. Obama taxed me a lot and I want Trump to put a GW Bush X 2 budget in place so I can get huge tax credits again (which will probably cause another Recession lol).

I can't believe you forced me to review 8 pages of your thread. I was actually hoping to find legit sources for your claim. Instead, as I should have expected, all I found was a post from you making this proclamation.

I live near DC, I do a lot of work with the Federal Government. They can not operate without a budget and one was most certainly in place in 2016. Here are the specifics.

Now how about the fact that President Trump has not passed one law yet that would have had any effect on the current budget, care to address that?
