I'm counting on the senate here. I am a conservative and I heard the republicans promise us healthcare plans that were portable, can be bought and sold across state lines and lower cost. I also remember being told that people with pre existing conditions would have coverage. Time to hold thier feet to the fire on this and make them do good by thier promises.

Actually it saves 800 billion by cutting medicare. The plan is to use that to create tax cuts for the wealthiest. Why do you think these politicians are so happy?

Great for the Dems. I'm thrilled that it passed. It is going to be wonderful for Dem candidates running in 2018 to be able to speak to crowds of people who lost health insurance and air a video of a bunch of GOP jokers jumping around the Rose Garden with the head clown, congratulating themselves like a bunch of 15 year olds for passing legislation in one chamber of Congress.

Our pathetic House. This is the immature Trump factor. It's like watching a bunch of people get drunk...and then comes the hangover. They think it is sport--jerks. Reagan is rolling over in his grave. Bring back the grown-ups.

Joy! Joy! Billionaires save tons of money. Poor People die.
You people have a sick and sordid value system, there. Evil.

But the fat lady hasn't sung yet. It has to pass the Senate.

And if It does happen
Bet all those people who loose their insurance then have a stroke, cancer or heart attack
will rush out and vote for the people who did away with their medical coverage. If they are still alive.

Good for you. You are the first and only Conservative in this thread to demand your party keep their promise. Everyone else is so busy wooting and celebrating they don't understand how devastating the impact of this bill will be for THEM. It's nice to know there are a few Conservatives who don't have their heads up their asses.

50, try 60. The filibuster is coming and by the favorability of Obamacare, this isn't the mountain to die on with the nuclear option.

Bad deal is more like it. Taxpayer money going to insurance companies. Insurance companies getting the fines. Federal subsidies, 300-400 billion dollars in the bill going towards insurance companies profit.

The first proposal was, this one seems like an entire "let them eat cake" legislation. It sure will backfire next November.
