Sister is a Nurse practioner.

Both treated ODs, both have treated victims of intoxicated drivers, both have treated long time users of both abused prescriptions and hardcore drugs... even long term use of steroids...

I would say about 4 out of 5 jobs I have taken from 1990 to the present required a drug test. Mostly urinalysis, but saliva, as well.

I've been in the US for 15 years and never had to take one.

That is, until I volunteered to crew on a sail training vessel. The USCG doesn't mess around.

It's something I took pride in.

Could you imagine the backlash and embarrassment on my behalf if I ever got popped for a DWI or found dead with a needle in my vein, or found tweaking out?
