That is their right. They harmed nobody by walking out.

They've handled their dislike of the Trump Administration much more gracefully than my alma mater did.

I don't care for Pence but you do have to give him credit for not ranting on Twitter right after.

Sweet Geezus.

Pence lies to our face. Trump is rude as hell to leaders of other nations, disparages judges...

Rude apparently works out quite well as an approach in life.

They have the right to do whatever they want. I personally didn't vote for Trump/Pence and I find Pence a little too bible thumper-ish for my liking.

That being said I think it's bad form to disrespect the Vice President of the United States. Just my opinion.

Unfortunately, we might need to become accustomed to having a President Pence.

It's their right. I think walking out is perfectly reasonable if you don't want to sit and give the impression that you approve of the speaker.

At least it leaves others who may want to listen with the ability to do so.

It's not like they won't still graduate.

It's not disrespectful not to want to hear his speech.

Agreed. I think a walkout has long been seen as a calm version of protest in this country. Nobody should be forced to sit through a speech at their own graduation if they strongly protest the speaker.

Well, I don't like him either, but he appears to be a mature adult.
