Michigan has a Republican governor and the Republicans overwhelmingly hold both chambers of the legislature.
Wisconsin has a Republican governor and the Republicans overwhelmingly hold both chambers of the legislature.
Pennsylvania may have a Democrat governor but the Republicans overwhelmingly hold both chambers of the legislature.
The reason why Donald Trump is president is because Hillary, being about as politically astute as you are, took no notice of these political realities and still thought she had those states in the bag.
