Nah, we don't have to be "consistent" about anything. Especially when you can't even be "consistent" with yourselves....we'll just keep pointing out the fact that you loss the election.
Look I'd be 100% with the Democrats on some of this IF they also addressed the corruption exposed by the Russian meddling.
If Democrats were actually honest about it...sat back and said "hey we need to also address how we tried to tilt the party unfairly in Hillary's favor....in addition to Russians attempting to hack into our systems..." then i'd be on board with that, but they seem to conveniently ignore any of that and want to blame everything on the Russians.
Meddling in the election is only bad when it's the Russians.
When Debbie Wasserman Schultz sandbagged Bernie.... did Dems cry out for justice?
When Donna Brazil gave Hillary the debate questions ahead of time...were Democrats calling for a special prosecutor?
Why is interference in the election OK when it's the Dems doing the interference?
Votes don't need to be physically changed to alter an election. We do know hackers got into voter roll registries in 31 states, which means they could have deleted voters so their votes never showed up. And a massive disinformation/social media manipulation campaign is just as effective as changing vote tallies, and much easier.
really? you are going to try THAT bullcrap? the fact is that just about anyone can vote these days in any election. if they are not on the voter roles, all they need to is produce some kind of ID, or even an electric bill, gas bill, etc. and they get a provisional ballot. and in most jurisdictions that provisional ballot is in fact COUNTED on election day.
Absolutely mind blowing to me that not only did Putin personally direct this operation, but that Republicans are perfectly ok with it.
This was without a doubt a Russian coup of the U.S.
The question is: Why didn't the Obama administration stop the Russians from helping Trump? Who was in charge of the USA before and during the elections, President Obama, or Trump?
I don't know what's worse for the Democrat party right now - Nancy Pelosi or the Russian collusion conspiracy theory.
THAT is a good question... one is destroying them financially with record low donations for the last two months, and the other is destroying their credibility.
The question is: Why didn't the Obama administration stop the Russians from helping Trump? Who was in charge of the USA before and during the elections, President Obama, or Trump?
And... why is 11 months of investigating has no one even come close to the conclusions made in the OP?
The question is: Why didn't the Obama administration stop the Russians from helping Trump? Who was in charge of the USA before and during the elections, President Obama, or Trump?
Because Obama did not want to be viewed as helping Clinton or putting his thumb on the scale.
You see, there was a nutjob republican running for office and telling his followers that the election was rigged. If Obama got involved in any way shape or form, the nutjob and his fans would have been screaming their heads off about it, and if Hillary won, they would have blamed it all on Obama (just as they are blaming him for all their dumb mistakes now).
Why is that so difficult to comprehend?
He did everything he could to punish and stop the Russians at the time. Also laid the groundwork and infrastructure to cyberattack them in the future. Fat chance Trump would do that to his patron.
Why did it take 2 years to investigate Watergate, which was a far far less complicated case?
How Silly
Watergate, a crime was committed. The ones guilty were caught red handed. There was absolute Proof.
in contrast
Russians helped Trump - Just a wet dream of disgruntled Democrats who can't accept that Hillary lost and nobody is paying attention to them any more.
