ISP's for the most part have adhered to the Net Neutrality principal since it's inception and forcefully since those rules have been formalized. It has done quite well on all fronts under NN whether it's commerce, the sharing of information, media or anything else you can think of.

The delivery of content is only a minor role in the internet economy. What benefit can be derived from having a company like Comcast who is delivering the content, is a content/service provider and lastly can turn the spigot on and off for other sites and services?

The only way this can turn out well is that other tech companies like Google for example start building out their own networks in earnest and adhere to NN principals giving Comcast competition.

Where I live Comcast performs quite well, always get the advertised speed and very rare is there any issues with the service. The price sucks as does the price for the 3mbps DSL which would be my only other option over Comcast.

I pay for a Verizon 3mbps DSL connection for when I'm at my Grandmothers. I can login into my Comcast account, Netflix or whatever and watch just about any TV I want that I could watch at the house. It's questionable if I'm going to be able to do that without NN.

They would all charge $300/mo even without repealing Net Neutrality if they could. We'll have to see if these changes are a big enough disruption after net Neutrality is repealed before users and businesses start protesting the degraded service.

So you're willing to accept paying for something tomorrow that you get for free today.
