Dream on! Trump is so highly indebted and his net worth so highly inflated that his White House gig is like a life line. There is a reason he refuses to release is tax returns and his family prostitutes White House access to raise fees and make money.

Let's talk about that point for a minute. How do you KNOW Donald Trump doesn't need the money ? Have you seen his financial statements, or his income tax returns ? Or, are you just going by what you HEAR him say, when he says he is "really, really rich" ?
From all indications, Donald Trump is heavily financed and up to his eyeballs in debt, mainly to offshore (and very questionable) lenders. His credit is so bad he can not borrow money from traditional American lenders, and what kind of "very rich person" can't do that ?
In the world of "rich people" Donald Trump is a piker. No really successful businessman goes bankrupt as often as he does, nor do they have a horrible track record of scamming people who do work for them.
So, the answer is you really do not know that he doesn't need the money, you are only guessing.
