His credit is so bad he can not borrow money from traditional American lenders, and what kind of "very rich person" can't do that ?
Stop! This is only going to make him more relatable, more trustworthy and more a "man of the people" than he already is since the credit scores of most Americans are in the gutter. Trump's terrible credit means "he understands someone like me."
“The Boy Scouts of America is wholly non-partisan and does not promote any one position, product, service, political candidate or philosophy,” the group said in a statement Monday night, according to news reports. “The invitation to visit the National Jamboree is a long-standing tradition and is in no way an endorsement of any political party or specific policies.”
Then why the hell did they invite Trump? Surely, this isn't a surprise to anyone.
It's a standing invitation to the current POTUS, who is the honorary president of the BSA. They could no more have refused Trump than any other sitting president. Sadly, but perhaps not unexpectedly, Trump abused the privilege.
Maybe it's because I'm young and my parents raised me to have class, but I would never boo a former president, no matter if I disagreed with their politics.
I'm sure those are the same people who threw a fit when Kaep kneeled during the anthem.
“The sitting U.S. President serves as the BSA’s honorary president.* It is our long-standing custom to invite the U.S. President to the National Jamboree.”
A political rant to 40,000 children. The man is a fool.
