LOL, as he types this yet another Cat 5 hurricane bears down on the Caribbean, right on the heels of Harvey (50+ inches of rain in Texas, unprecedented) and Irma (first time the US has seen back-to-back Cat 4's, and Irma set a record for longest sustained 180+ mph winds).
Human-induced climate change is doing a triple face-slap to North America. These severe hurricanes are all fed by hot oceans warmed by CO2 emitted by human activity. It isn't alarmism. The models don't matter. It's actual facts on the ground, right here, right now.

The Paris Accord has one goal, transference of wealth.
That is the entire goal of the Man Made Climate Change movement. They had to change the name from Global Warming because the Earth has actually been cooling, so if the weather changes they can still TAX, and charge huge fees on Energy, and Energy usage. I wish I could think up of scams like these to make money. Al Gore, and many like him became even more wealthy selling phony carbon credits, and other SCAMS.
I pay the equivalent in "Climate Change Levy" (TAX) as I do in electricity costs on my properties in London, so it DOUBLES my energy costs there. DOUBLES!!! Where does the money really go?

You can make jokes, but it is a HUGE financial burden. We also have Emissions Trading there as well, so there are more costs to doing business. Remember, the Democrats pushing Cap, and Trade? (Cap, and Tax). Well that's what it is. More Taxes.
From what I have read, the researchers in their report do not claim that global warming is not happening, but that we have some additional time to address it.
It is akin to a cancer patient being told that he has six months to live. The doctor returns after a week, and says "Actually, you have nine months", which, at first blush, the patient receives as wonderful news.
Until he thinks deeply about it, and realizes that the addition months will probably be taken up with pain, chemotherapy, and such.
