its not about climate change so much as it is about control. package it right, and suddenly you have people jumping on the climate change bandwagon saying we need to do something now before its too late.

what is the biggest motivator for this? fear. create enough fear in peoples minds, and you can get them to do just about anything to allay those fears. get a bunch of scientists to stand up and say we need to get control of climate change, or global warming, or what ever the buzz words are now, before the climate reaches a tipping point and we can no longer do anything about it and we all die off.

and then when the non partisan scientists start getting their positions out, and telling people there really is nothing to fear, the alarmists step up and say these people are deniers, or are paid off by big oil to protect their profits, and the science is settled that we do something or we die.

and once again the overwhelming majority of scientists around the world DO NOT agree that climate change in man made. the 97% figure came from a poll of IPCC scientists, not all scientists. watch the videos i posted up for more explanation about this, it should open your eyes, unless you are like sanspuer and have bought completely into the cult of AGW climate change.

The earth has been cooling? Are you sure?

If you look carefully at the data, a trend line drawn from 1980 to 2017 is steeper than the long-term average. Global warming is ramping up.

Now look at the medium term trend of CO2

The correlation between rising temperatures and rising CO2 is obvious.
Don't confuse these people with the facts. It makes their heads hurt.

They aren't confused -- they form an opinion first then cherry-pick bits of information, along with a generous helping of falsehoods and pseudo-science from denier websites, happy in their bubble of make believe.

Where is your link, or do you expect me to just take your word that this is true?

You do know that heat melts ice right? So you must be ok with this.

Sea levels during several previous interglacials were about 3 to as much as 20 meters higher than current sea level.

Reduction of the West Antarctic and Greenland ice sheets similar to past reductions would cause sea level to rise 10 or more meters. A sea-level rise of 10 meters would flood about 25 percent of the U.S. population.

yes and we call these cycles NATURAL for a reason, since they happen regularly.

the alarmists are the ones pushing/spinning their cherry picked info

its easy to cherry pick a state of warming..and use the CONTROL WORDS like "unprecedented" or "never seen before", or "historical", or "first time in recorded history"

has the earth been warming over the last 35 years more than the last 150 years.....yes

has the earth been warming more in the last 150 years than the 150 before that....yes

does that mean warming is getting out of hand....no

does that mean its man-caused.....no

there is no evidence of 'man-made' global warming.... not once scientists has given or showed undisputed beyond doubt evidence that this global warming is man-made and not part of the natural cycle

do we humans pollute...yes....can we do something about that....yes

do we humans waste...yes.....can we do something about that....yes

do we humans overdevelop and cut trees(a natural radiant cooler and co2 user/o2 PRODUCER)...yes......can we do something about that....yes

are we humans the cause of the earths climate changes........NO

I live right on the shore on Long Island...long Island was CREATED by the last glaciers.....did we CAUSE the warming 15 thousand of years ago to melt the glaciers????...........NO

and warmer (as in global warming, means more moisture, ie tropical as opposed to desert...)(that's why the deserts are greening) is better than ice covering 3/4 of the planet

the reality is 99.9% of people understand that climate change is real.........
been happening for the 4 billion years this earth has existed.........
climate always changes....there have been over two dozen major ice ages...and two dozen interglacial periods, where the peak global average temp have been about 73-75'f (about 14-17'f warmer than currently)...............climate change is natural....(I like using Fahrenheit because of the smaller(more detailed) increments)

according to the cycles, we are about HALF WAY through the warming(inter-glacial period) before we hit the peak at 75'f +/-2' (our current global average is only about 58-59'f)

the warming of the last 100 years is part of the warming of the last 18000 years since the peak of the last major ice age.

never has it been a perfect sine wave.. the warming is a very erratic upward trend

only people who deny history and science , are the ones calling it man made.

mans contribution to it is like 2% to maybe 5%......what we do need to do is be better custodians of our planet, and stop polluting so much and abusing our natural resources

I think we should always be expanding technology and moving towards better energy....I believe solar is the answer..and wish former president oboma had made that his "shovel ready' stimulus plan instead of his unstimulating stimulus bill...........I don't think wind is really viable

we do need to do better in recycling and reducing the garbage we produce.....instead of making everything disposable and has to be replaced 3-5 years... go back to making things that last

but instead the fascist liberals continue to say man-made, and their only answer is more taxes

Climates do not change without a cause, and it is clear that there are no natural forcings causing the present warming...That leaves only human causes.

Check out the first chart on this page... https://www.accuweather.com/en/weath...forcings/54094
