My understanding is that there are transcripts of all his calls. So should be easy enough for him to settle this.

The transcripts of his calls with the Australian Prime Minister and the President of Mexico did not line up with Trump's account of them.

But this could be different.

My guess is that Trump's version of respectful condolences are out of sync with the rest of the world's. But let's see.
