By now even to Trump's hardcore followers it should be clear he doesn't know how to talk to anyone. Remember what he said when he met first lady of France a few months back? We certainly know what he said there, don't we? If I were Trump's follower this is one of the topics I wouldn't touch even with a 10-foot pole.
Most of the people making excuses for the President know what they would say. They probably know they would not say what Trump said. You see normally we have compassion and either know what it feels like or will say I can't imagine how you must feel. Sometimes the old tried and true my heart goes out to you. Perhaps being Commander in Chief, Trump would verbally acknowledge his role.
This is just the latest example of what has been said many times about Trump’s personality. We all have a knee jerk reaction in situations like this. Trump doesn't have it. His handlers should know by now and keep him out of any situation that requires a public display of compassion by the President. Pence would have at least been compelled to go with the Christian default and say something about God.
The Congresswoman is actually a plant by the Republican National Committee.
Placing buffoons among the ranks of the Democrats is a full time activity for the RNC. As the saying goes, "One way to win is to make them lose!"

Didn't even say his name, basically provided no condolences for his service. A ****ing chimp knows enough to not say "he knew what he signed up for" to someone's family after being killed in battle. Trump thinks he's still on ****ing tv.

Because there weren't many other words there for context? And you're ignoring the situation in which those words were spoken.
