I guess they can't handle the truth. At least the widows get some comfort these days. I remember during Vietnam (husband is a Viet Vet), there were NO congressional escorts, presidential phone call, comfort, consideration, 500k insurance coverage, 300k GoFundMe account, lifetime healthcare, free college for a KIA vet's kids. 58,000 dead Americans received nothing but scorn from their country. Sorry, but I can't have much sympathy here. My husband was drafted (aka conscripted into slavery) and served in Vietnam for twelve cents an hour pay with no benefits after his duty ended, was exposed to Agent Orange, had a daughter with a birth defect and has had cancer himself twice. The services these days are like a job, they hire on and do their jobs and getting killed is a potential element of the job.

I respect Chris Kyle and that lone survivor guy (whatever his name is) But I feel nowadays it is all about Navy seals. I know a lot of true warriors who never brag. They are not rich, they did their job and you will never guess what they have done. I have a friend who lost two legs, (He is an Army ranger) he always says, "Well, this is what i signed up for." He's the most loving guy I've ever met. Never thought this is an insult.
The lady volunteers at VA hospital lost her husband in Viename, her two sons in ME. All she does is taking care of others and she loves all of us. (never made us feel inferior.) I've never heard her saying, "I speak for all military families." lol Respect is certainly earned.

That’s why the long military tradition in my family WILL END with my grandchildren. Not one of them will serve in the armed forces. Not one.
Please don't take this the wrong way, but if they have the will and the passion, no other job will make them happy unless they are in the military. I never wanted to be a military spouse...jokes on me. My husband joined after his civilian job was not making him happy.

This is true. My grandma would tell me about that time period. Also that my grandpa found out about my mom being born by snail mail during that time.
Once again the Never-Trump lunatics show they are willing to believe anything that is said about Trump.
Their proof?......... The fact that they believe it!
