Speak for yourself. I don't have an obsession with skin color. Many liberals do,that is for sure.

I think conservatives/GOP in general try to appeal to people as individuals, not based on their race, gender, age, income, etc.

LBJ after expanding welfare said, " I will have those Ni**ers voting democrat for the next 200 years!"

LBJ bought their vote with tax payer monies.

Until LBJ started his "Great Society", which included a Welfare State that made it financially advantageous for single women to have children with no father in the house.

The U.S. Census Dept. Seems to change the links to its various tables every now and then. This makes it hard to reference the tables in records.

Here's a modern version of the table referenced at the bottom of the chart. I don't know if it matches. The chart was made from the table it references, and matched that exactly.

Correct. 2/3 of those on public assistance vote Dem. There are actually statistics on that. They haven't yet figured out that it's in the Dems' best interest to keep them poor and therefore dependent on the government. It's the only way Dems can win elections and try to keep some semblance of political power.

Meanwhile...

Disability benefits from government: 25%

And even worse, it's minorities who are very disproportionately kept poor.

Now that Dem voters understand that you're supporting the maintenance and growth of a perpetually poor underclass that MUST be kept poor in order to keep most of them voting Dem, will you all still go along with that?

Whites have less than half the poverty rate of Blacks, so... no.

Poverty rates:

Black: 22%
Hispanic: 19.4%
Asian: 10.1%
White: 8.8%
(Source: US Census Bureau)

The top two highest poverty rate groups vote heavily Dem.

Wow, is that guy (Robert Caro) who wrote a gazillion LBJ biography best sellers going to be surprised! It's sort of like the guy who wrote the big Lindbergh biography book who never knew old Lucky Lindy was a bigamist a few times over.

In the south, the poor areas vote bigly for the Democratic party.
Correct. That can easily be verified by matching areas with high poverty rates with their election results.

How are they being "helped" economically? Most of them remain poor. And that's by design to keep them voting Dem. Dems couldn't win elections without an underclass that's deliberately kept permanently poor.

I'm no fan of LBJ, but, I do not think he ever uttered those words, at least not so that they would be recorded.
