News just broke that SECRETARY OF STATE Rex Tillerson, SECRETARY OF DEFENSE Mattis, and CIA DIRECTOR Mike Pompeo all urged Trump not to do this.

This is a shockingly bad decision and Israel and the US will actually be hurt by this move. Remember, Israel is surrounded by Arab Muslim neighbors. None of these Muslim neighbors will do anything of benefit to Israel.
Additionally, Israel has further isolated itself from Europe, which will not be too willing to help the Israelis anymore. Honestly, Israel is likely to have very few friends in the world after this move.
Europe does a good job defaming Israel on it's own w/o any help from the US.

The US House AND the US Senate voted overwhelmingly for today's action.
Clinton, Bush, Obama were too cowardly to follow the US Congress Votes - President Trump is not a Coward.
He promised to do it ...... as did all the others.
Difference is that Clinton, Bush, Obama made those "promises" to gain VOTES and MONEY.
President Trump followed through because it was the right thing to do and a "promise" means something to him.
What value can there possible be to continue to do what is KNOWN to fail?
Only a true Statesman is capable of saying - past actions have FAILED and now the USA will keep it's Promise.
