Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y., is having a bad week – and it’s about to get worse. On Friday we’re expected to learn from the federal Bureau of Economic Analysis that the U.S. economy grew at a blistering pace in the second quarter of this year, further affirming the success of President Trump’s tax cuts and deregulatory efforts.

Schumer hopes each day to distract from the booming economy by championing a bewildering array of issues just like the lefties here on C-D.

This part is no doubt true.

What is false is that 7 months of the stock market at the same level is terrible. What is also true is that these crazy decisions and waffling with tariffs are hurting a LOT of businesses. A lot.

What is also true is that Conservatives were lying the whole time about balancing the budget and cutting spending...instead they did the opposite and all hailed the King of Debt. They backed borrowing 1.5 trillion more...when it was not needed. They back Trillion dollar plus yearly additions to the debt at a time when we could be balancing the budget.

"But what about?"......we are talking about Trump here. If you want to discuss the GOP GWB Great Recession and unfunded wars and tax cuts GWB and the Republicans gave from deficits, we could go back in time and do that.

Actually, when Donald JOHN Trump took office, the National Debt was 19.9 trillion.

Do me a favor while I consider that. Start my next thread for me.

Trump is still the greatest on the economy. That didn't change at all.
Amazing! Not a semblance of maturity, reason or logic by the OP here...

A scary thing to witness, but fortunately there are not too many Americans so far off the deep end, at either end of the political spectrum, obviously victim of extreme confirmation bias, ego and love of own voice. Lots of people have tried to help "connect the dots" in terms of the cause and effect that determines our economic state of affairs, but the OP will have none of it!

Instead, in Classic Trump form, just double down with even worse nonsense, like this "communist lefty approval from the collective" crap. Truly unbelievable. Is that what all comments critical of yours amount to in your mind?

Funny to suggest anyone start your next thread for you when obviously this thread is all you need or want to continue your boorishly redundant Trump mantra.

You can bring a horse to water, but you can't make him think!

Remember when all the rightwingers wailed and whined about the Fed under Obama? How the Fed used $4 Trillion of "printed dollars" to artificially stimulate the economy under Obama? Trump's tax cuts are two and a half times larger than the Fed's QE was. Repubs are the party of debt.
