It's a clever choice.

The name will resonate with older Americans, anyone who remembers JFK (60+?) or whose parents tell stories of that era (40+?), reminding them of a time when presidents were intelligent, well-spoken, well-informed, and classy - everything Trump is not.

You're a moderate Democrat, but you're repeating the same BS scare tactic argument that we've been hearing for years? Are you going to tell us that Trump will personally push you off the cliff in your wheelchair, too?

Medicare and Social Security aren't going anywhere unless the entire government folds up. Even the Grinch, with his heart three sizes too small, wouldn't be stupid enough to touch that third rail.

Hard to claim you're a moderate when you make statements like yours.

Right.

This would have been a perfect place for Sen. Franken to debut his serious side.

Oh well, tough ***** says the butt squeezer from Minnesota!

wow, just wow

a. thanks for showing that the democrats are dictating what the right 'thinks' and 'want' to do

b. no-one has said anything about doing away with SS or Medicare...all anyone has spoke about is reforming them....
SS..reform it...americans are living a lot longer, do another adjustment on the full retirement age
SS is is 1.6 trillion in deficit
2011 started the decline...every year since Social Security has collect at least $45 billion less in payroll taxes than it pays out in retirement, disability and survivor benefits, according to the Congressional Budget Office. .... the surplus that people sometimes talk about...is a was, is now gone
SS NEEDS to be modified....raise the age, or something, because for most of us now, its just a hope that we will see it when we hit that age

for years the democrats have been raiding the booty of the SS, it needs to be fixed
.....and making it optional, or connecting it to the dow, or raising the age, or even raising the cutoff is not 'wanting to get rid of it', its wanting to fix something that is broken

c. medicare...the 700 billion dollar gorilla in the room
100 billion in FRAUD, WASTE, and ABUSE in medicare out of a 700 billion budget...1/7th of the budget is wasted on fraud

in 1965 they said medicare would only cost 12 billion by 1990, it cost 3 billion to implement it in 1966
in 1990 medicare cost 107 billion
in 2000 medicare was 216 billion
in 2008 medicare was 456 billion
in 2016 medicare was 691 billion
what is even more interesting is what the predicted outlays will be in the future
in 2016 medicare was 691 billion
prediction for 2020....963 billion
prediction for 2026....1.383 Trillion

fix the fraud, waste and abuse.....is not 'wanting to get rid of it', its wanting to fix something that is broken

instead what do you have...the fascist liberals CLAIMING , that the repubs want to "get rid of it".....goes to show you just how much the liberals will lie for power

Most older Americans I speak to these days hate Democrats because they are anti-American, anti-vet, and too pro immigration and doesn't care about Made in the USA. This is why those older folks come out wearing US Flag pins supporting Trump.

And many more, the best example being of course John Kennedy.

We don't care, your post is nonsense. If Joe Kennedy is the right guy, and I liked what he had to say last night, then we will support him with no reservations.
Uhhhhh....yeah. And all three of those candidates lost.

Democrats love America, and they love and accept the diversity and culture of others because this is what makes up the fabric of our society. Most of our families were immigrants when they came here. We have always been the land of freedom and opportunity yet some want to stop that now.

Nobody is stopping that. The goal is to control the influx at a reasonable level and stop the illegal immigrants. Not sure how you can consider that to be stopping freedom and opportunity.
