My biweekly paycheck went up by only fifty bucks. Pretty disappointing, but better than nothing. The tax system just continues to screw single people. Hopefully, I'll get a bigger refund next year.

I was screwed when I was a single "employee" and screwed now as a "self-employed single" as well.
Depends on your salary. Like if you were in a 25% tax bracket, now it will be 24%. So it may be your salary did not reflect a good change.
I got my tax cut already (payday Jan 31st). i was happy because it was YUGE! but my coworker who makes more money than me was not so happy. Not sure why since i dont know his salary.
But he told me next year, i might not get such a high income tax refund in 2019 as i have been getting, which I dont know why, but he ought to know since he works in payroll.
These people reporting that their pay checks went down must be confused. Just this afternoon I heard the Donald say that his tax plan was really, really great for the middle class. "There will be another $1,000, $2,000 $3,000 or $1,000" in folks paychecks.
Donald wouldn't lie, would he?
That is over the course of a year's salary.
For example, $2,000 divided by 12 months is about $180 a month less taxes paid (I'm rounding so don't shoot me)
Trump is asking for a huge bump in military spending, he's increased his request for monies for the wall, he's asking for more money for infrastructure spending, and he's blown millions of dollars so he can spend weekends at his personal properties. He's a spender, a big spender.
Also, a HUGE borrower, and never intends to pay it back. just ask his past business associates.
So I've been reading on CD everyone crowing about how much bigger their paychecks are and I can tell you my paycheck just went DOWN.
What up?
I didn't really have a chance to review it with a magnifying glass or anything ~ but it appears my health coverage went UP.
Thanks Trump!
And why would anyone believe you? Liberals have spent the last 6 years telling people they were wrong or lying about their health care cost going up and coverage going down. You've spent the last weeks telling people they were wrong about their paychecks going up. Why would anyone believe you saying your check when down just because of Trump?
You can thank Obama and the democrats for your health coverage going up. They built that ball and set it in motion.
Funny, when it was Obama who made a payroll tax change that resulted in a mere $40 change liberals were ecstatic and bragging about what a significant difference it would be and how it was a "victory for the American people".

Liberals are such hypocrites, they would rather ***** and whine and see America fail than see Trump and the Republicans succeed.
correct
