He is a reserve police officer, fully trained in firearms. And he shows off his loaded weapon and discharges it in a class full of kids.

Fire him. Now.

It will send a message to other gung-ho "educators" who think they will save the day, guns blazing.

Letting teachers carry weapons is a dumb idea from a dumb administration.

Oh, wait, it involves a "gun" and accident.

I wonder why they NEVER report when a gun is used for GOOD?

https://www.nraila.org/gun-laws/armed-citizen/

Over 570 PAGES of where a gun was used for good and not ONE SINGLE STORY EVERY MADE IT ON CNN.

One would think they have an agendas!

I have often said, it is NOT just what the LSM reports but, what the do NOT report!

Typical leftist over reaction.

I guess YOU have NEVER had an accident IN YOUR LIFE.

"Letting teachers carry weapons is a dumb"

Hold the presses. FIRST we CONSTANTLY read on ere how super SMART our educators are.

They are HIGHLY educated, MOST have a Masters degree yet, when it comes to guns they are too STUPID to be able to learn ow to handle one.

And THESE are the people you want teaching our kids!

Not ME!

The gun fetish insanity continues, despite all appeals to rationality and logic.

Guns are designed to kill people. When you have an accident with one, someone either gets seriously hurt or dies. When you have an accident with a pencil, someone gets a splinter.

The fact that this country has allowed such infantile mental children to steer policy for so long is despicable.

Anyone with an ounce of maturity and a brain knows that introducing more guns into schools will create more deaths then they will prevent, but gun fetishists somehow cannot get past this simple logical step, because the answer to EVERYTHING HAS to be more guns. They love and worship guns, so how can anything but more guns be an answer?

Where is it that you read "constantly" how super smart our educators are? It certainly isn`t here and most of them do not have a masters degree. Should the universities offer a course in gun handling? They can call it Wyatt Earp 101.

Only the delusional believe that more guns in school will lessen school deaths from guns. I wouldn't trust ninety-nine percent of the posters who say they are "responsible" gun owners with a gun near my loved ones much less a teacher, janitor or whoever else gun nut jobs want to arm in public schools.

Here in Florida, a few years ago, a local cop was giving a safety demonstration to some senior citizens, and he asked for a volunteer to come up on the stage to help him. He thought his pistol was unloaded, but one was in the chamber, and he shot her and she died.

If even trained professionals have problems like this, God forbid what would happen if Mrs. Jones, the Librarian, was packing heat. Plus, where are these teachers supposed to keep their guns all day, while i class ? Do we really want guns sitting in his or her desk, where some kid can get ahold of it and kill others ?

That whole plan to arm teachers is ridiculous.
