If he doesn't want to participate he was given a option where he could be supervised and he chose not to.
Sorry but if he wants that kind of personal attention let him be home schooled.
He felt that either option was participating in something he didn't want to participate in. I support him saying "no".
I certainly understand that he did not want to participate, nor should they be forced to.
But they weren't forced, the option was study hall. Was he also not taking sides on the issue of study hall?

It gets old having to repeat oneself over and over. I addresses this once with no rebuttal. It was a school sponsored event. They did not walk off the job. You can disagree with the event but the teachers did not walk off the job.
A school sponsored political event that only endorsed one view. Indoctrination over education.
No they do not. There are assemblies for all sorts of reasons. Many simply for an entertainment break. The school can decide what to cancel classes over. They did, did they not?
What sort of "entertainment breaks" do you think happen during classes in schools?
