I don’t agree with the kids on their solution, but I admire them for wanting to do something about it so it doesn’t happen to anyone else. I don’t like how people are reacting to them. It is disgusting, but also a sign of the times. Anyone who puts their views in the public sphere is going to have people hate them. It takes a lot of courage to put yourself out there in today’s world of social media. It’s brutal to be a celebrity or politician.

These kids haven’t exactly been nice though, so I’m not sure what they expect. They started out blaming millions of gun owners and said the NRA has blood on their hands, while saying their local law enforcement was blameless when they weren’t.

What is their end goal? They claim they don’t want to take away people’s guns, but then you hear them talk about countries that took guns away. We aren’t an island, and we have a whole lot more guns than most other countries. And a population that will not give up their guns willingly.

Pollack was the father that couldn't find his daughter, later learning that she was dead. Someone had snapped a picture of him wearing a pro-Trump t-shirt and circulated it , for which he was bullied over. Leftie bullies who didn't give a flip that he'd just lost his daughter.

He wasn't allowed to speak even though it sounds like he was in the line up of speakers.
He's pro-Trump.

There ya go.

WOW.

If that's true that's some cold-hearted s**t right there.

I've said it before here. I'm mentally ill, part of the 99% of mentally ill folks that will never be violent. Mental illness is not as big a part of this issue as everyone seems to want it to be

There were a few trolls on social media that made comments about his shirt, but the vast majority of people commented their condolences and support.

Yep. If that is true, we will never know. If true they will use some lame excuse for why he wasn't allowed to speak.

If he was originally going to speak, then it doesn't sound like it had anything to do with him being pro-Trump. He was wearing a Trump shirt the day the shooting happened, its not like organizers just found out today that he was a Trump supporter.

The organizer say he was listed as a speaker, but didnt show up. It's kind of hard to speak at a rally you don't show up to.

At that point it's he said/he said.

But consider this:

If the anti-gun crowd saw him in the Trump shirt which would surely put him on their naughty list they couldn't simply deny him a slot up front. They would have to say he didn't show up, there was a scheduling conflict, or some other excuse.

If he asked to speak or applied to speak (I don't know how it worked) prior to the event they wouldn't want the optics of shutting him down ahead of time. So this is a convenient excuse for them. That is if he was there and ready to go. Maybe he didn't show up/they couldn't find him.

Private ownership and protecting yourself and loved ones is wholesome and good.
