Ok, that’s still not a massive number for how much land there is to cover
So far both Oregon (D) and Nevada (R) Governors have said No to this. How many do you think California will send?
What's interesting is that for years California has used around 250 of it's National Guard troops to assist with multi-agency drug interdiction efforts, around 55 of the NG troops assist at the border. I don't think Brown would be opposed to it if he could be convinced that it was being done prudently with some goal in mind but right now it just looks like a political stunt to keep the base from rioting over Trump's failure to build "the wall"
