Seriously why does America or any first world country have to care about EVERYTHING that happens in the world no matter how tragic it is? There's bad crap happening everywhere in the world all the time and no one can save everyone or solve all the world's problems.

Not saying we should ignore everything that happens in the world, but we should be smart enough to understand that there are many things that are unsolvable and/or impossible to fix in the world and hence we should pick and choose more carefully as to where we put our efforts towards.

Serious question, what makes the use of chemical weapons on civilians so much more worse than the use of any other weapon that kills civilians in large numbers? Why so much outrage on this vs civilians being killed by an airstrike or an artillary barrage etc?

Chemical and biological weapons are banned internationally, turning our heads and ignoring them could lead to an expansion which would be very dangerous. We need to have a steady policy, launching an attack against Syria one moment and ignoring other incidents sends the wrong message.

Syria should be held accountable for the killing of innocent civilians regardless of the weapons used.

There is no global ban on chemical weapons. The US currently has the largest stockpile of chemical weapins, and has a policy of its right to use them.

Who is the US to hold anyone accountable? In the last two decades its bombs have killed thousands of civilians.

There is an international ban on the development, use and stockpiling, we do not have the right to use chemical weapons nor does any other country.

Trump just promised that Syria will pay a price for their actions.

Considering the Saudis hate any Arab who isn't Wahhabist Saudi, it's logical they want their U.S. lapdogs to start another war.

Do your own research. I could post a hundred links all from different sources in the Middle East echoing the same sentiment. You should try to loosen up your ten foil hat. Muslims have been killing each other since Mohammad invented the religion. And a great many Muslims take delight in that killing.

Not our country, not our problem. There is no reason to risk the lives of American servicemen or the American taxpayers money on those in other nations. Their country, it's up to them to fix their own issues. We have plenty of our own.

I doubt Assad was behind this one. Trump just announced a withdrawal from Syria soon.. Assad had 90% of that town contained and there was just small pockets left , then all the sudden theres a chemical attack.... Sorry, but im not buying it. Did it happen? Probably.... but assad wasn't the one who did it.
