Most Americans simply don't care, as tragic as the death toll is. We're exhausted after 15 years of Afghanistan/Iraq/Syria/Iran/etc.

Another false and baseless claim of chemical attacks? Shocking.

If they are not animals they can use them for legitimate purposes. Apparently they can’t control themselves.

I totally agree. If Assad is innocent, as he claims to be, then he would be asking for inspectors to come in immediately. Instead he has the area blockaded. No one gets in to examine the evidence and uncover the truth.

You'd better be wrong.

Our CIA gasses children? So tell me about the Twin Towers...

This thread is shot full of conspiracy theorists and "false flag" pushers. I think most of them don't believe what they're saying......but it's what they want to believe.

I'm sure Trump consulted Obama on the issue.

This thread is giving me a migraine.
The evidence of past uses of sarin and other gasses by Assad is overwhelming:

https://www.cnn.com/2017/04/20/middl...pcw/index.html

"International chemical weapons inspectors have found "incontrovertible" evidence that Sarin gas, or a similar substance, was used in a chemical attack in Syria earlier this month that killed 89 people.
The Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW) took biomedical samples from 10 victims of the April 4 attack on Khan Sheikhoun and found indications that they had been exposed to Sarin or a Sarin-like substance."

Syrian rebels used Sarin nerve gas, not Assad’s regime: U.N. official

That rumble in the distance is the neocons beginning to pound the war drums. Lindsay Graham wants to take out the ENTIRE Syrian Air Force. I'm praying that Trump pushes them back or we're looking at Iraq or worse all over again

No Truer words!!!
Not our business. It is however the business of the United Nations. Let the world decide what should be done and the world pick up the tab for doing it.
By picking up the tab I do mean every member state pay an equal share of the costs involved. That means paying for fuel, ordinance, man power, salaries, food for the troops, etc..

The neocons never went away. They were in Obama's ear on Libya, Syria, and Ukraine, backed Hillary almost to a T, and are now pushing Trump to make Syria into Iraq part III.

I periodically go back and listen to this speech; it's long, but arguably the most important speech since Eisenhower's farewell address:

Im sorry but wasn't it Obama who got us involved in Syria? I mean yes the right jumped on the band wagon, but it was Obama and his party who got us involved in yet another fight that was none of our business. Not unlike Libya.

He did. Ukraine as well.

Neocons are inherently of the left. Trotskyites who were Scoop Jackson-following warmongering Democrats, then jumped to the GOP during Reagan. They jumped back briefly to the Democrats after Trump won, but now he's doing their bidding for them.
