What you and most Pubs are completely unwilling to admit is that healthcare and education for illegals is just another facet of corporate welfare. Taxpayers pick up the tab when employers bring in those illegals by the millions.

Yep, it's socialism, alright.

Corporate America LOVES having millions of sub-minimum wage illegals in the workforce to hold down pay and benefits for American workers. Meanwhile, they don't pay any fringe benefits like health insurance, so those illegals clog up emergency rooms across the nation that you and I get to pay for through taxes.

All to increase profits and executive bonuses.

It's socialism for the wealthy and capitalism for the rest of us who foot the bill and compete for a paycheck.

It benefits the "right people" at the expense of the public.

Can't speak for their TV coverage but they have covered the topic a number of times this year.

Don't know but I'm sure their politicians are blaming everyone but their own laws for the prices.

Same for why their electric rates with the latest increase means they're top 5 or so in electric costs countrywide and that includes HI and AK which are high for a reason.

If you used your Costco Visa you saved additional money. What is it on gasoline, 3-4%?

Didn’t think I’d see $3 buck gas this year. And don’t tell me about supply and demand because demand is no crazier now than it was last year. Save it.

So someone tell me what’s going on?

Locally shell plus and Vpower always has been over 3 dollars.

down the road gas for 2.32.

average is 2.38

rich town gas goes for 2.98 while the next town, 10 miles apart, same brand is 2.39

I put shell in the old vette

what's going on is your choice of branded gas.

just like the earth's changing climate, gas prices rise and fall continuously, the rationale offered by legislators is intended to fit a political narrative. Industry claims are just as suspect. mystery of life.

With a rewards card from my local grocery/pharmacy, I actually paid $1.67 gallon for 20 gallons.

So they say. More than likely it's going to go to politicians, police, firefighters, and the fact that more people are retiring from the public sector, and with those retirements comes the benefits packages that all need to be paid out.
