Do you really believe they will step up to the plate? When have any of them ever decided to support babies after birth?

Then make birth control free and available to all. But you ignored my point about anti abortion laws only affect those to cant afford to go somewhere else to have an abortion. The rich and affluent dont care about your laws. Doesnt matter if its calif or Oklahoma or anywhere else. Why do you want to punish the ones who can least afford the medical care/birth control?

I have. The laws in 38 states are very clear. The bottom line is if a women consents to termination, it is NOT illegal. If termination is against her will then it can be prosecuted.

Yes, this is just political theater at our expense. GOP candidates can look like they are accomplishing Great Things when in reality it will make no difference, except to our wallets.

I wish people would realize that and put more money and effort into saving the children languishing in the foster care system. They are already here and need our help!

Of course, it was never about saving babies in the first place. The foster care system means big buckeroos to various rich people, and they are ticked that not enough caucasian babies are available to adopt out at $11,000+ per adoption.

Follow the money! These are rich liars hiding under the cloak of the pro-life movement.

The bill has no exception for rape or incest!

Quote:
The bill, SF 2281, prohibits doctors from performing abortions after a fetal heartbeat is detected, which is typically as early as six weeks’ gestation, before most people know they’re pregnant. It makes an exception for cases of life endangerment, but not rape or incest.
Quote:
“Under this Republican bill, you would force a child rape victim to have a baby, no matter how young she is,” said state Senate Minority Leader Janet Petersen (D-Des Moines). “That is unfathomable.”

All they need now is an 11-year-old victim of incest who is 14 weeks pregnant. What a mess this is!

Makes the Republic of Gilead seem not so fictional after all.
