That's not the question. I'm asking if, as Christians, people agree with Jeff and Sarah.
that's actually not what the poll asked. if they are using the bible to justify the law, I don't agree because that makes no sense. you don't need anything to justify a law that already exists.
Christian (well, Unitarian, so I'm not sure many Christians would count me as one of them), and I think it is abhorrent. I pray that this policy discontinues soon, and that the children effected by it have the resilience to heal from the trauma.
The Obama administration simply handed over migrant kids to anyone who claimed to be a parent. Often the "parents" were human traffickers, and the kids were handed over to slavery, rape, death. So get that fact into the discussion.

It really isn't, not as long as those who hire illegals giving them reason to come here get little mote than a slap on the wrist when caught.
You.
They are not using the bible to support separating children from their parents at the border as a deterrent. They are using it to support upholding the law.
Romans 13: Let everyone be subject to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except that which God has established. The authorities that exist have been established by God. 2 Consequently, whoever rebels against the authority is rebelling against what God has instituted, and those who do so will bring judgment on themselves. 3 For rulers hold no terror for those who do right, but for those who do wrong. Do you want to be free from fear of the one in authority? Then do what is right and you will be commended. 4 For the one in authority is God’s servant for your good. But if you do wrong, be afraid, for rulers do not bear the sword for no reason. They are God’s servants, agents of wrath to bring punishment on the wrongdoer. 5 Therefore, it is necessary to submit to the authorities, not only because of possible punishment but also as a matter of conscience.
Nothing in there about supporting separating children from their parents at the border as a deterrent. Fact.

Lie.
You are twisting fact to support your won agenda.
Doesn't have to say "Separate Children" The Bible extols you to obey the law of the land. Regardless if you like it or not.....
of course a little one is going to cry for their parents, when their parents are being processed....whataya think?
Good Lord, why don't you carry on for your own people's children here in the states, citizens, that are being abused, hit, killed, shot, sold for drug money, every single day??????? Your allowing the media to do your thinking for you. Cry for them...why don't you? They need you....these kids at the border are being WELL taken care of....
Righhhhtttttt
Show me the Republican policies and initiatives which seek to lessen or eradicate any of your "concerns"

two wrongs don't make a right. and I fully support much, much harsher penalties for companies hiring illegals. i would support jail time for those caught hiring illegals.
