Trump the last 5 days: "Democrats are the problem. Its their law."

Breaking news right now: Republican lawmakers meet with Trump, frustrated over HIS "Zero Tolerance Policy" which is why children are being separated.

NO, it isn't. Would you be willing to take that chance with YOUR child or only with other people's children?

Schumer wants the President to handle the situation. Do you know why? I think I do. It's easier to reverse in the future as they have found out from everything Obama did and Trump reversed.

Exactly what is the supposed party of family values trying to say? Separating families is good?

IMO, the wall is a ruse. The Republicans convinced their base that nothing could be done to stop illegals until a wall was built. The knew it would never happen. They do not want illegal able bodied men stopped from coming over. Where would they get the people to do all their work?

Now that the base finally realizes that all the benefits and school taxes are costing them more in tax dollars than what they are saving on the price of cut up chicken, they want it stopped.

What to do? What to do?
And IIRC, it was rejected because of the strings the dems had included in that package.

It's all over. Trump lost this battle. Dems 1, Trump 0.
More like Common Sense 1, Trump 0. How many Republicans want to die on that hill?

Oops, you are wrong yet again.

This is a Republican Congress that has not stood up to Donald Trump on anything before. You can bet they are capable of reading polls, too, and knew they were on the wrong side of this issue.

Don't you get tired of always being wrong?

This isn't a loss. Keeping them together in custody is a perfectly reasonable approach. Over 85% will be going home, anyway.

Not so fast - as expected, the Democrats refuse to even consider any plan to keep families together.
