Sounding less and less like a generalization.

Let’s recap shall we?
Starbucks
CSU
AirBNB
Yale

And likely Nordstrom.

I’ve little doubt now that this is a daily occurrence. We just don’t hear about it every time.
I don't know the details of all the above stories, only this one and the Starbucks thing. I thought calling the police was utterly ridiculous in both cases.

I do think in the age of "see something, say something," that society as a whole has become increasingly paranoid and fearful, and that minorities, both racial and religious, have borne the brunt of that paranoia and fear. Nevertheless, I think to call any group of people "notorious" based solely upon race and/or gender is rather extreme, and probably inaccurate.

That phrase was created to combat terrorism, and has been abused to death. Does anyone with a functioning brain cell really think that this woman was a potential terrorist because of where she chose to take a nap?

Good grief.

The amazing thing about that video was that whoever recorded it and uploaded it must have had no clue how stupid and ridiculous it made the students look. I think they actually believed they were outing the professor as a racist, which he clearly wasn't.

Not sure why this is newsworthy.

I hope the cop calling fellow stays in school.

Her personality is perfect for the following job:

Internal auditor : who are usually disliked by anyone within their own organisation for exposing their weaknesses in processes or non compliance.

Yeah, that whole incident was a real eye opener. The kids in that video must have been bright students with all-around outstanding qualities in high school, or they wouldn't have gotten into Yale, even with affirmative action. But there they are screeching and weeping over the fact that the professor hadn't yet memorized all of their names. What the hell happened to them at Yale to make them into fragile, entitled ninnies? It's as if they caught some nasty brain eating virus.

somehow i doubt 'african studies' requires intensive study to the point of exhaustion.

still, i don't see the point of notifying anyone over this, especially the police.

folks always need to make up scenarios that haven't happened to justify this crap.

I'm sure she would've...

I bet she would also...

they love to talk about hypothetical scenarios
