If not for all the welfare leeches that have relocated from Chicago and Gary and worse places that call our state "Moneyapolis" we would have went for Trump.

The other part of the success equation is agriculture here. We have great farmers and good land and plenty of water for irrigation. And farmers are about 90% republican. Simple fact.

Paul Wellstone is part of the so called Clinton death list...if anyone does find it suspicious..then they should be looking at Clinton and the crooked DNC

I tell you one thing Wisconsin has figured out...sports stadiums. They build an outdoor stadium for their football team the Packers. They build a baseball stadium with a retractable roof for their baseball team. Perfect combo for our weather. Ensures them home field advantage in playoff games in the cold plus beautiful fall weather for the fans in Sept and Oct.

In Minnesota we get everything assbackwards. Outdoor only baseball stadium so the team plays with snow flying on opening day and just miserable weather for the first month. Combine that with a losing team and you get empty seats. The football team plays in a stupid indoor only stadium that looks like a giant polebarn build by people on LSD.

Oh sure, liberals better at destroying cities than fixing them. That's why the most famous cities in US are all liberal cities.

Conservatives like to help people; the problem is, they only consider the top 5% to be people.

So who is better at job growth, employment, wage growth, and quality of life? If you've been paying attention, the answer will not surprise you - the liberals.

.

Washington state is a good example, when the Rs were in control the state struggled and the joke slowly became "out one out of seattle turn off the lights." But as the dems gained more power and the cons moderated the state kept doing better.

Now WA is 100% controlled by dems and it its economy is doing great. It is not that the dems have some magic it is that they encourage education , long term investment and strong social safety nets.

And here I was wondering if you were having trouble reading and comprehending.

First off, sentences typically begin with a capital letter and end with a period. Or does is that a sign of an elitist?

As to your questions about what else is different besides smokers and bars, I believe I mentioned that Duluth has a ballet, a symphony, and most of the good restaurants. There are other differences, of course. But I can see you are already offended, so I'll leave it there.

You mentioned that folks in Duluth should help out the folks in Superior. Help out with what? I don't see symphony concerts or ballet performances being a big hit in Superior. Not unless everyone was performing nekkid.

In any case, folks in Wisconsin are quite happy with the way things are. I doubt many have any interest in having those from Minnesota coming over to help spiffy things up.

Unless they become disabled, of course. Then Wisconsin folks hot foot it across the bridge to get the health care, the monthly living stipend, and the subsidized housing that is not available in their state.

It's not all kind and decent people in Minnesota.

After all, Michele Bachman is from Minnesota.

There should be an amendment to the constitution that state and city governments have to have a balance of conservative representatives along with what other whack a mole party that wants to give everything away to people who do nothing.

Echo chambers are really bad for Democracy.

Minnesota is a known as a high tax state with a good quality of living and apparently that attracts competent individuals and businesses whose success depends on competent employees.

For example, I don't believe there is anything comparable to the Mayo Clinic in Wisconsin.
