I liked the fact that he didn't get us into any major wars and after Republicans took control of the Congress, Obama signed their budgets and we got much better results. Also, he seems to be a great Dad and husband.

I've always said that for an America destroying, Christian hating, Muslim loving, Kenyan born, Affirmative Action President, he is aces in my book.

He didn’t get into a major war in Libya, but destabilized it and caused the great migration to Europe, and god knows how many deaths and slavery and terror training camps. I think his heart was in the right place to stop the murderous Qaddafi, but he should have had a better strategy for the aftermath or leave it alone. And he and Biden really should have tried harder to get a new status of forces agreement in Iraq.

He inherited a foreign policy mess, and made it worse. He did better at home.

I do think he’s a good person and family man, but in over his head on some things.

Obama could have cured Cancer, put every American to work, and walked on water, and they would still have accused him of some made up conspiracy theory, just to make their boy look better. No way will one of them ever give him any credit for anything, it would be like pulling their fingernails off.

yes i voted for trump because he wasnt hillary. no way i wanted that witch to be anywhere near the white house. and true i voted against obama twice, and given his track record i was right to.

but obama did do things right in his time in office, and i DO give him credit for those things. just like with trump. i may not like his methods, but he does get things done for the people, if you were actually willing to stop seeing through hate filled glasses and actually THINK about the things he has done and is doing.

can i say i like obama? no because i have never met the man, the same with trump, since i have never met him either.

if i ever meet them, i would sit down with them, i would make the effort to be friendly, and see what happens. obama always seemed to be rather arrogant though, where as trump has always seemed to be more down to earth. obama couched his words, trump speaks his mind.

but both men are intelligent, and thoughtful in their own ways. i wont vote for obama, as i dont like his political views, even if he was a republican i wouldnt vote for him. trump could have run as a democrat and i probably would have voted for him given what he ran on doing.

so there you go.

I think Obama was a bumbling buffoon in way over his head with a national media covering for him. He was lazy, did not do the hard or dirty work to change anything, even for his own people. He was a complete disappointment to everyone who is being honest.

I figured the Trumpies would crawl out from under their rocks to dump on Obama ("America destroying, Christian hating, Muslim loving, Kenyan born...") despite the purpose of the thread, but as a center/right voter I liked Obama fairly well. By the end of his eight years in office the economy had recovered from its' lowest point since the Great Depression and the country was (and still is) in pretty good shape. The proof is in the pudding.
