I thought trade wars were good and easy to win?
Why should taxpayers be responsible for saving Trump’s votes? This is beyond ridiculous.

Trump is swimming in bribe money from Wall Street and Goldman and half his staff are Goldman Sachs fat cats, just like the guy responsible for raising money for his presidential campaign who became Treasury Secretary.

The finance ministers for Mexico and Canada on Sunday said they were optimistic about NAFTA talks with the United States, even as trade tensions spurred by U.S. tariffs dominated the G20 meeting of world economic leaders in Argentina.

Admit it. Trump knows he overplayed his hand and instead, our trading partners are issues tariffs directly on Trump supporting states. I see no country begging to trade with the U.S. and instead, we're giving farmers $12 Billion in welfare.

We're the single most lucrative consumer market on the planet. If you don't think countries are begging to trade with us, you just don't get it. That's what this is all about, access to the US market. We have what everyone wants and Trump's going to make sure we get fairly compensated for it.

The funny part is we're still not even talking to Canada. If you look at the articles Trump & his advisors don't even mention them. Canada is headed to Mexico tomorrow to talk trade. When they realize how close Mexico is to a deal with the US, they'll wise up.

Yeah, how's that farmer welfare working? Are those farmers going to pay us back the $12 Billion they are BORROWING?

Yes because CAnada is holding firm. This new guy in Mexico (not being sworn in for some time) is sitting in on talks with the existing Mexican leader but isn't able to make a deal yet,

He's kissing up to Trump.

Canada's not.

This attitude towards farmers by Democrats is on full display all over the internet and the leftist media. Keep it up, this stuff will make great campaign ads come October.

The other silly thing about this is the notion that agribusinesses like ConAgra, Monsanto, Purdue, Smithfield and the like aren't going to have the funds already hoovered up before some family farmer gets past filling out Page 1 of the relief form. Remember, the only thing better than votes is corporate financial backing.

Watching Canada handle this has been highly entertaining. Trudeau is a boy among men.
